Our experience in running businesses, leading oversight of companies for private equity and venture investors, starting up businesses from scratch, getting businesses out of trouble, negotiating creative ownership solutions, moving quickly in financially distressed situations, and actively managing real estate investments have provided us with the foundation to start this firm.
We have personally started over a dozen businesses ourselves with success and failure ... we have learned from both. We have backed and mentored entrepreneurs with time and financial investments that have grown into companies valued from $10MM to over $1 billion ... we were with these companies every step of the way over many years.
We thought it might be a good time to create a firm where operators sit across the table from operators who are now investors ... and see people who understand.

EARLY INVESTMENT
We invest in people AND ideas. You need to have good characteristics for both and if you do, we would like to help you. There is no such thing as too early. We would rather help set the course than just be along for the ride. We like basic companies that can demonstrate success quickly. We are ready to support growth with additional capital.
REAL ESTATE
We are real estate investors in industrial, commercial, and affordable residential properties. We buy distressed or estate-bound properties and can move quickly to close a deal.
SPECIAL SITUATIONS
Many deals require fast and complex decision making. We have bought out partners and investors in difficult relationships. We have helped restart near-bankrupt situations. We have backed experienced managers striking out on their own for the first time and support employee ownership and ESOP transactions.
